I’m having intense chest pain, don’t know if I should go to the hospital?

I woke up this morning and being the stupid 17 y/o that I am, I tried to have a glass of sprite- I’ve never regretted anything more, it was agony trying to go down and I ended up doubling over and puking it up before it ever hit my stomach. Now I’m having intense chest pains in the middle of my chest and cupping down under my right breast, it’s sharp, very painful, my right wrist is now hurting as well and I don’t know what to do.

I can drink water without any pain, I’m doing that now, but the chest pain isn’t going away and I have no idea what’s causing it.

For some background, I don’t know if it’s involved, but I’ve been told I have costochondritis, but it has NEVER presented like this before, and last night I was feeling this odd uncomfortable rippling on my left side coming down from around my stomach to my hip, ended up aching but nothing more, but now that area is starting to hurt as well.

I just need some help, should I be going to the hospital?? Anyone have any idea what’s happening??

Well, to be prudent and safe, tell your parents and they may want you to get checked out.  Really, to me, it sounds like a bad case of gerd or heart burn or esophageal irritation from the sprite.  But you want your parents guidance and chest pain is something to be up front with and check into.  Likelihood that it has anything to do with your heart is beyond low based on your age.  But GERD is common.  good luck
