My dentist told me in November i had gum diease quite bad on the left hand side of my mouth... and to be honest i was in soooo much pain it was unbelievable, obviously after he decided to prod the hell out of it it started hurting even more... I then went onto a forum and decided to look and see what other people have used, and see that someone wrote how good GENGIGEL was so i decided to buy it from Boots even though its quite expensive at 7.99 but i tell you what i still havent heard from my hospital but i dont know what i would of done without this stuff, its not longer hurting and looks so much better and my teeth hardly ever bleed now. x

It depends on what your dentist told you or what he prescribed. You might want to try Orajel - which is commonly used for toothaches, but I use it for gum problems as well. If your gums hurt because of wisdom teeth or molars there is not much you can do, besides wait it out. Try to only eat liquid foods such as soup or broth.
