stabbing pains

i am getting very sharp stabbing pains in my vagina and anus, not sure if it is because of my coil, seeing as it has only happened since i have had it fitted. the pains come and go and only last up to 30 seconds, but they are so bad i can hardly walk. it always happens for about a week before my period is due. should i see my doctor? or is this normal

I would contact your Dr for this ..sounds like hormone related issues ..the coil is tricking your body into thinking you're pregnant an can be causing similar symptoms..good luck :)
