well im lesbian and my mom knows but my dad doesnt should i tell him. he sends me things makeing fun of lesbains and guys. i would choose lesbian and gays over any straight people because there are is alway a reason why they are the way they are. people who like the same sex are better to talk to anyways but he just wouldnt get it so should i tell him. he also said at the beginning of the 08 year if i ever became lesbain or bi i would be thrown out of my house but im just so tired of the jokes about them and i just want to say "if you have a ******* problem tell me because if you have a problem with them then you have a problem with me"

Honestly, your best case is probably to tell him. I know someone who was a lesbian for almost 3 years now and kept it from her parents the whole time, and when she told them, (just recently) they were even more mad/upset about the fact that she didnt tell them from the begining. I dont think there is anything wrong with people being attracted to the same sex, but others feel differently about it. If your dad is making fun of lesbians/gays then its probably going to be harder to tell him, but i would take the risk and get it over with, your his daughter and he should love you no matter what, and if your afraid hes really going to kick you out of the house make arrangements to stay with someone for a while until he accepts it. I don't quite know what to do in such a situation but if I were you, I wouldn't tell my dad YET. Try to get him to accept that lesbians and bis should be accepted, since they're born the way they are. Or perhaps, you can keep him in the dark forever, which is gonna be a bit hard cause of what people say, they'll find out somehow. I believe your dad has an idea of what you really like that thus, he's making jokes to change you. You MIGHT want to have a proper talk with your dad, which is something i wouldnt do actually, but it might work for you, to tell him how you really feel and that he should stop acting like a jerk to insult you and stuffs. it MIGHT work. its really up to you. if you feel that the time isnt right to tell your dad now then, dont(: like what people always says, when you walk to the bridge you'll realise that its actually straight:D perhaps you're still walking, so you're bothered. wait till the moment comes, then I believe you'd be able to decide whether you want to tell him, or leave it(:
