Levo causing bloating

Hi Friends, it's confirmed Levo causes my digestive system to bloat, been on it since TT Feb 2012,.  Each time primary changes my dose, my digestive system bloats.  I haven't had any digestive bloating in weeks !!  Dose change beginning Thursday 19th, been bloated since, usually takes up to 3 weeks to subside.  Bloating is a side effect, need to contact pharma company.

Just thought I'd share, since many has had bloating issues on Levo, but wasn't sure if Levo can cause.

Hi Barb, hope life is treating you well.  My hormone labs finally stabilized, been symptom free for months, out enjoying life :)

Since TT I've had few med dose changes.  During this time, I had digestive bloating issues, with 8 week dose changes.  Didn't know the cause, had upper/lower scopy, return normal.  Gastro doc diagnosed IBS.

Well, Feb 2013 was my last labs, dose change, 175 to 150, bloating for approx 3 weeks.  For months now, I had no bloating at all.  Zero !

Labs/dose change thursday Sept 19.  Sept 20 took dose increase, empty stomach, digestive system swelled up, digestive system stay's bloated regardless if I eat or not, doesn't matter how much I eat, when, etc.... bloated 24/7, between 2 to 3 weeks, then goes away.

Could be Levo irritates my digestive system, then stabilizes (IBS).

Hi there; long time no see...

Can you tell  us how it was confirmed that the levo caused your bloating?  Cam you describe the bloating symptoms?

I'm on Tirosint, not levo and have been for over 4 yrs; my dose  hasn't changed either, in nearly 4 yrs, but I do have periods of bloating; that's why I'm asking.

My bloating seems to be more related to what/how much I eat than to my thyroid med.
