What could it be?

Hello, I am posting on behalf on my mother who just received her bloodwork back and is waiting to see her doctor.  She is a 57 year old who has previously had throat cancer and kidney cancer.  Both were successfully removed a number of years ago.
Her Ferritin levels were at 499, she had Low TSH and her GFR was at 120.  She is a carrier of hemocromatosis but has tested negative for it herself.  She is very concerned and will be seeing a doctor but in the meantime is very worried.  I am trying to gather all the information I can.
Can you help?

To get to the forum where Dr. Lupo answers questions, you have to go to the top of this page, click on "forums", and you will see that there is a whole section for people to talk to other people, and a whole section where you can pick a forum that has a doctor answering questions.

If you go to the "Doctor Forums", you can pick the Thyroid forum or any other you think will help, and ask there.

They only take so many questions a day, so you may not be able to post today. They take longer to answer, also, but they do answer every post.

Meanwhile, someone here may see your post and help you out.

What you are asking is way to technical for me.
Sorry
Good luck.

You might post your question to Dr. Lupo on the left hand side of the forum page.  I'm sorry I can't be of any help.
