low TSH, high T4 and severe leg cramps

My dady's blood test just came out yesterday. His TSH is < 0.02. T4 Free is 1.85. My dad has suffered from severe leg cramps for a long time. It happens most often when he lay in bed. Quite painful. His left eye has developed double vision since this August. He has significant weight loss over the past year. His weight loss, leg cramps(sometimes even hand cramp), eye problems, are all caused by these hormone imbalance? Is there any convenient over-the-counter **************? Thanks in advance for your help.

I no longer have a thyroid due to cancer.  I am taking 150 mg of Armour which brings my TSH very low but I still have low thyroid symptoms, EXTREME fatigue and continued weight gain.  Is it possible that I have a conversion problem that makes it unavailable?  Does your body have enough ability to convert T4 to T3 without a thyroid?

He should be examined by a doctor.  The leg problems could be restless leg syndrome or else could be a lack of potassium in his body which is easily remedied.

if it is thyroid related, no over the counter meds. sorry, need to see endocrinologist, sounds like his is hyperthyroid. any heart palpatations? double vision could be thyroid eye disease, but he needs to see a doc. that specializes in thyroid disorders. he could have graves disease? i am suffering from graves with similar symptoms without the weight loss I am atypical of this symptom (of course) and have gained weight. they will start him on meds to help out his levels back to normal.
