Drink a Coke. If it stops, you will know. That's how I figure it out! Good luck!
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Yes, the best way to do is keep a food diary. See if the headache worsens by increasing caffeine and decreases on decreasing it. It is difficult to diagnose the cause of headaches on net. Sinusitis, refractive errors of the eye, migraine, cluster headaches, brain tumors, high blood pressure, tension headaches, temporal arteritis, pinched cervical spinal nerve, poor or disturbed sleep etc are several causes of headaches. Dental pain and ear ache can cause similar symptoms. Needless to say, a persisting headache should be investigated. Please consult a headache and migraine specialist to rule out these causes one by one. Take care!
The best way to do it is to keep a food diary, and that is everything you eat and drink you write down.
If you get an hedache after eating the persific thing , then you leave it out, and see if the headache returns, if it returns , then it isnt the cause.
With caffeine you leave it out, and dont drink anything with caffeine in.
If when you have left it out , you dont get an headache, then you know that caffeine might be the cause.
Hope this has helped.
