Sounds like it's your electrolytes (Magnesium, Potassium, Sodium, Calcium).
See with your doctor if you can try a magnesium supplement. It is good on the muscles and nerves which could help the popping noise and your heart beat.
Some of the safer and more effective forms of magnesium include: Taurate, Glycinate and Citrate (latter can be laxitative, so take with food).
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
What you have is probably headache with tinnitus (abnormal sound in ear). This can be stress related or due to sleep disturbances. Subarachnoid hemorrhage can also give headache with tinnitus so since there is no history of head injury get your blood pressure checked. It can be a chronic daily headache which is a variant of complex migraine. It can also be due to carotid artery kinking, aneurysm or blockage.
Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral to a neurologist or a vascular specialist. Take care!
