Temple Pain

Hi, Monday I had blood work done because I told the doctor that I have had a pain in my temple on the left side. Its been going on for awhile. He called me Wednesday and said I should go to a neurologist. I'm sacared to death thts this is bad news. He said that some kind of levels were up.Can you give me anykind of insigt what this might me. I'm getting anxiety over this and its making matters worse. I dont see the Dr. until Dec. 29. I cant stand not knowing what this could be. Please Help.

Pain in the left temple can be due to many reasons like primary headches(tension,cluster,migraine),thrombosis,hemorrhage,aneurysms and many other neurological and systemic illnesses.Pls elaborate on the symptoms and the tests that you have got done,so that I can help you in a better way.

I'm not sure of the test. The Dr. did say that the normal range should be 30 and my range was 50-70. They arent in the office for me to get anymore details. My pain is on the left side temple area. At times it may be worse than others and also may just make the left side of my face feel terrible, I do suffer from frequent headaches, some worse than others. I do have alot of stress in my life amd always blamed the headaches on that, however, this pain is practically everyday so I am constantly taking advil or tylenol. I do take prozac and xanax for the anxiety. The pain can get the point where its just throbs.
