Please help me find out what is wrong with me.

so I am 23 years old I have been have these symptoms of tiredness, fatigue, headaches, backaches, numbness in extremeties for 2 years now and the doctors cannot find out what is wrong with me. I have had a CT scan and MRI. The CT showed nothing but the MRi did show minor lesions in my brain, not really sure what they were called. Anyway everytime I go to the er or go to the doctors and they start doing there tests it always comes back normal..... I know they are missing something I know I should not be feeling this way. they have had me on some medications to help. One that helps the most is tramadol for the pain, it doesn't get rid of the pain, weakness, or fatigue altogether but it does help imensly. I am really tired of taking this medication just to get through the day... any help would be wonderfull.

I just remembered that Aspartame can cause lesions on the brain.  I hope you don't take artificial sweetners or diet sodas.

I agree with LowCortisol about seeing a neurologist.  Lesions in the brain are usually (but not always) caused by Multiple Sclerosis.  You might also want to be checked for Lupus as the symptoms are very similar - especially since you are in pain.

If the radiologist who reported on the MRI mentions lesions, then I urge you to find a neurologist (ideally linked to a highly regarded medical centre) to give you his/her opinion on the lesions.

It is best not show the neurologist the report mentioning the lesions. After all you want the neurologist to make a diagnosis on his own without being led by whoever wrote the MRI report.
