annoying chest cramp

a couple night ago i became dehydrated and fairly ill. yesterday my response was to rest. toward the end of the evening i began having a cramplike pain  on the right side of my chest. the discomfort became such that it was difficult to sleep, and it became worse with movement. i was hoping it would be gone by this morning, but it is still there and quite uncomfortable. i feel some soreness on the far other side and once in a while some soreness in my back. i also forgot to bring my medication on my trip (omeprezole and lexapro), so i have also been experiencing some withdrawal symptoms as well. what could these cramps be, and are there any suggestions as to how to get rid of them? thank you so much!

some movement causes the cramp pain to be fairly severe.

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
You either have a muscle pull or costochondritis, which causes pain and tenderness at points where your ribs attach to your breastbone.  Use an analgesic cream or spray. Anti-inflammatory drugs help. Continue with your drugs as before.
Hope this helps. It is difficult to comment beyond this without examination.  Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
