MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
A dark discharge from vagina can be due to a foreign body (like a condom or tempon left behind) or due to cervical cancer or dysplasia, fibroids in uterus, endometriosis, or due to fungal infection. You will need ultrasound, STD panel and PAP smear for confirmed diagnosis. All these can also cause pain during sex.
Do discuss this with your gynecologist and get yourself examined. Take care!

The black colored blood is old blood that may not have been expelled during your period. Different types of birth control may cause this. It is called break through bleeding when it occurs between periods. The little bits are likely blood clots your body also could not expell. The trouble is that you are having pain just touching your lower abdomen and you need to see your obgyn. You didnt mention what if any BC you are taking. Be careful. I was on Mirena and ended up being the 1% with PID (Pelvic Inflammatory Disease) which can cause infertility. Your syptoms could also be a sign of an STD. To be sure I definitly recommend you see your doc. Your symptoms are not indicative of normal menstruation. Remember that the longer you wait the worse it may become even leading to something irreversible.

Good Luck!!
