pain in shoulder(s)

ok,   hard to explain but will try.  I think I hurt my (left) shoulder back in November.  But until recently only had problems, moving it backwards or rotating it.  But now it hurts all the time,  forward motion now is included,  even taking the blankets off at night( side motion).  The pain will take my breathe away,  sharp pain, instant, and after i move to a certain point goes away but returns again when moved to a higher elevation.  I don't know what I did but have tried heat and anti-inflammatories to no avale.   and the pain is now spreading to my other shoulder(right).  What did I do and how do I fix it?

You should check with an orthopedic... you said you might have hurt your shoulder in the past... did you check with a doctor back then? It could be a case of periarthritis or a trauma that really needs to be taken care of.

Good luck! :)
