please help me

hie i have been coughing for almost 2 weeks producing some green or rust like mucus,i went to the clinic,i was given tablets and tested for TB but i was nagative now through the same cough i have started feeling some back pains like needles in my spine.this happens when i cough,shout loud or laughing heavy.. what exactly is this and how can it be treated

not sure, the back pain may be a result of the chronic coughing causing your muscles to get sore. i would see another doctor one thing about clinics is that some doctors are in such a hurry to move to the next patient. that and a cough is a quick treat symptom. but if it last 2 weeks or longer and other symptoms are joining in i would definitely get back in to the doctor

Did the clinic doctor give you antibiotics? You have an infection, probably bronchitis. This is an infection of the lungs. Rust like mucus indicates blood is in the mucus. You need antibiotics before it goes into pneumonia. If you have antibiotics, have finished them and you still are having problems you probably need stronger antibiotics or take them for a longer period of time. Go back to the clinic.
