Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
A pressure that you feel on lying down could be due to nerve compression on spinal cervical nerves. This could be due to high BP. You could be having a sleep disorder. The other possibility is cluster headaches. The pain is generally one sided, accompanied by vertigo and worse on lying down. Sitting up and pacing improves the pain. Please consult a neurologist to begin with. Yoga helps relieve the pain to some extent.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
Could it be allergies? If so a decongestant will help. i have had bad allergies since a child. Allergy shots for years. I will feel a ton of pressure in my head along with my eyes. It also gets so bad that i will get real dizzy. Hope this helps.
could be damaged or a trapped nerve
