Augmentin for Entercoccus

December 16, 2016, diagnosed with UTI was placed on the antibiotic Bactrim, symptoms did not go away went to the walk in clinic they repeated the urine and it showed UTI. Placed me on Cipro  symptoms were not any better, culture from walk in showed contamination so they wanted to repeat the specimen. Went to the clinic and gave a repeat specimen, it showed Entercoccus was placed on  Augmentin. From research I have found that the only thing that works on Entercoccus bacteria is vancomycin. Is this true
