Boxers or briefs?

Have doctors come to a conclusion regarding the healthiest type of mens underwear? We've all heard the boxers vs briefs vs boxer briefs discussion.

The argument against briefs is because people assume that the temperature of the testicles is raised due to the scrotum being held closer to the body, which supposedly results in lower quality sperm. But the testicles seem better held in place and protected in briefs than boxers.

Boxers leave you hanging free... which gravity over time may cause the scrotum to sag... which is undesirable. But the scrotum is free to ascend and decent for temperature regulation, which is a desirable.

Cotton is breathable and wicks moisture away. I think this is why it is the recommended material but I may be wrong.

I'm a 25 year old male, hoping to go through life with high quality sperm and without a saggy scrotum. So what's the best type of underwear?

personally i wouldnt worry about a saggy scrotum. my partner wears boxers because we wish to have children later on and he likes to be comfy.

He does have a tighter pair of boxers which keep things 'in place' lol but are still loose enough to keep the testes cool and non squished! so they might be an option!

i guess you have to go with what your comfy with, but until youve decided your sick of having kids and want no more then id go with boxers :)
