Female urinary tract infection? blood in urine.

When I was 5 years old I had a kidney infection. I've never had any symptoms related to that problem again until now . I am 20 year old female. I was diagnosed with a UTI 2 weeks ago and took antibiotics for 3 days, my severed pain went away as well as the blood in my urine. I had pain when urinating, and blood in the urine. Now 2 weeks later I am facing a little pain in my bladder and my urine is coming out with blood (brownish red color). I work 5 days a week M-F is this something that needs immediate care or is it common and can wait for 5 days for a doctor's visit. Please advice. Thank You

Hi,
How are you? Your condition needs immediate medical attention. Blood in urine is a serious sign of UTI. Hematuria(blood in urine) is usually more common in STD’s. Painless hematuria can be present in malignant tumors of the urinary tract.
I would suggest that you get a STD panel done and visit a urologist for further assistance on treatment.
Best.
