Hi Dr J Singh, thanks for your reply but I just received a cystoscopy from a Urologist that is why I have the catheter in place so I think the above can be ruled out.
After several days and testing I figured out what the problem was. Firstly when I got out of the hospital they taped the catheter pipe to my left leg. So when I got an erection the erection could not extend along the pipe this caused the catheter balloon inside my blather to pull against my prostate and after a few minutes caused extreme pulsating pain while sleeping.
Solution: So my solution was to remove the tape holding the catheter pipe in place and to only use the straps on the container against my leg to hold it in place. This left the pipe freely so that when I get an erection it could move up the pipe and does not pull the pipe.
I also encountered another problem and could not find a solution, but after extensive research found the following: When you do get an erection with a catheter the pipe does not move freely in your penis as you need some lubrication. This also caused lots of pain for me, as the tip becomes raw. So what I found was that Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil or Extra Virgin Olive Oil (Make sure its 100% with no flavoring or colorant) could be used to lubricate the pipe and penis tip. I have done lots of research and found the Olive Oil to be working the best because it lasts longer. It is easy to obtain and can be purchased at any food store. I used the olive oil several times a night as I woke up feeling discomfort because of the erection and then applied the olive oil to the catheter pipe and my penis so that the pipe can easily glide into my penis. It is safe to use and will not cause any infection. Just make sure you clean your hands beforehand and don't use if you are allergic to it. I also read some posts where people used KY Jelly. This is a NO NO as the KY Jelly becomes hard after a while and will be like sandpaper on the catheter pipe causing extreme pain when you get an erection.
I hope this helps someone out their as I struggled for a few days before figuring all this out and there was no info about this on the Internet after days of searching.
As a plus the Coconut oil and Olive oil can be used as a natural sexual lubrication. WARNING!!! Please note that Coconut oil and Olive oil must never be used with Latex Condoms as it breaks the Condom. So to be safe only use it when you don't use condoms when having sex and neither partner is allergic to it.
Hello,
For these symptoms any infection and cystitis should be ruled out. The other possibility is of prostate infection. I suggest you to get an examination done from a urologist and get all these possibilities evaluated. You need to get some investigations like urine examination, culture, ultrasound if the prostate and bladder, prostate specific antigen, examination of the prostatic fluid and cystoscopy done. Treatment is diagnosis specific.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
