Peyronie disease - a lump caused by injury, or unknown , to the blood vessels of the shaft, scar tissue calcifies and becomes hard and plaque can spread slowly causing tension on fibres within the penis ,due to loss of elasticity it is often associated with an upward curve in the tip when erect (this nomally follows in the weeks after finding the lump) , if the lump is below the curve would be downwards when erect . Most common in middle age. Easily diagnosed with ultrasound . this is not a sexually transmitted disease .
Dont be shy , go to the doctor for early diagnosis, as i will be tomorrow.
Hi, was there a corrective surgery when you were young for the hypospadia? It's good that you don't feel any of the other symptoms i asked. However, with your family history of cancer and the lump as well as the swollen lymph node, it is better to be safe and sure. A visit to your doctor for him to properly evaluate the lump will be the best thing to do.
I hope this helps. Take care and keep us posted.
No bleeding, the flow is great, doesn't burn anymore, no discharge or frequent urination, i'm 22 yrs old and male. my father had bladder cancer and died from it, maybe that's why i'm nervous, it's just a small painless lump. now i may have swollen lymph nodes, like i said the area just above the penis is tender when pressed on. I do have a condition called hypospadius, any further light you can shed?
Hi,
How are you? Do you feel other symptoms like: bleeding from the urethra or blood in the urine, weak or interrupted flow of urine, frequent urination, discharge from the urethra or enlarged lymph nodes in the groin area? Risk factore for urethral cancer include: having a history of bladder cancer, having conditions that cause chronic, swollen, reddened part in the urethra, being 60 or older and being a white female.
It would be best to visit your doctor for proper evaluation and dispel any worries regarding cancer.
Take care and regards.
