Pee hole tear

Recently I have noticed that my urine was coming out in a wider stream so I look at my penis and saw that the pee hole was longer than normal. There is a pain coming from the area. It almost looks like it tore a little bit downward. I was wondering if this type of thing will heal over time or if doctor assistance is needed.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
From the symptoms it looks that you need topical antibiotics and along with them, you need oral antibiotics also. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. Also wear cotton undergarments. Oral antiinflammatories like ibuprofen/acetaminophen are also helpful.

But if the tear is large then stitches or surgical treatment may be needed.

For this, I would suggest you to consult a urologist who can examine the tear.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
