Sorry for such a long wait to reply :P I saw the Urologist, and well quite frankly he said i was fine, the only thing he suggested which made sense is Epididymalgia. My prostate was fine, ultrasound was normal, no cysts no cancers etc. So since then i have felt much more comfortable and the pain went away... until i strained my back at work again my existing back injury is proving difficult, and my testi ached again for a few days. but now its fine again. I often check for lumps but the fear has gone down significantly. So in other words this is a progress report i guess.
On a new note tho, silly me decided to shave my pubic area again... i hadn't over a year close to 2. and the next day i have what seem to be ingrown hairs/razor burn, which always makes me a little paranoid. ( i throughly inspected my pubic region before shaving and it was spotless no lesions at all) and BANG 24 hours later red bumps appear. I like the feeling of no hair down there, and i used to do it all the time, i just dont remember it being this ugly! haha
Hello,
If the ultrasound and other tests have come out clear, then it is unlikely that any of these causes is causing the testicular ache. Apart from that kidney stones and nerve compression due to back problems causing referred pain can also cause dull ache in the testes. Please discuss these also with your urologist and get them ruled out.
I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
Well i did consult my doctor, i had an ultrasound about a week ago, no torsion, no epididymitis, nothing was found on the ultrasound. I didnt have uti, and i was examined for hernia, and kidney stones. 3 doctors 1 being the urologist who examined my ultrasound results said i was fine. My testicles do not hurt at all in the morning, just after iv been working i'll feel it, and when i touch them (which i do frequently now) it feels tender sometimes, but could i be aggravating by constantly checking them? Also the Emerg doctor i saw, told me that torsion is very painful, also very rare to happen without trauma, i had not trauma to my testicles. The testi ache feels very similiar to the ache in my back, sometimes hard to tell where its coming from either the back or the testi.
Hello,
Testicular pain can be due to injury, infection (Epididymitis or Orchitis) or inflammation, testicular torsion -- most common in young men between 10 and 20 years old, excessive bicycle riding, hernia or kidney or ureteric stones.
You can provide support to the scrotum by wearing an athletic supporter, apply ice to the scrotum, take warm baths if there are signs of inflammation, while lying down, place a rolled towel under your scrotum or try over-the-counter pain relievers, like acetaminophen or ibuprofen.
Some causes of testicle pain, including testicular torsion, can lead to infertility if not treated promptly. Infections also should be examined and treated right away. If the infection is caused by bacteria, your doctor will prescribe an antibiotic. So please visit your doctor if the symptoms persist.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
