White discoloration on Penis Shaft

Hello... I'm a guy of 21 yrs,and I've been very clean with my sexual habits i.e I haven't been engaged in any intercourse or anything until now. The only thing which I do is masturbation. Basically,I've a brown skin on my shaft and most part of it was brown until the last 15 days where I spotted a small white spot which almost looked like a healing wound skin(don't mistake this with me having an injury on my penis shaft),but I've noticed that the white spot is increasing day by day and  now its about 0.3 cms in diameter. Although it has no itching at all,but some times when dry looks like some whitish powdery layer has been accumulated on it and when rubbed gently,it tends to get away. But on usual times when the skin isn't dry,it looks pinkish in colour with no white powdery substance. Now,my question is what is this and why is this happening here? Is it Vitiligo or something? I'm really scared, tensed and mentally disturbed about this. And,can the discoloration be restored back to normal skin colour?

Firstly, many thanks for the reply and all the concern. Back to the topic,I'm very happy to say that its only today I noticed that the skin where the discoloration had started has started to restore back to my normal brown skin, although the white colour can still be made out the intensity has decreased and the brown skin has started to cover the patch and there aren't infections or any kinda itching around that area.. Everything seems quite normal and fine here. I don't really know the reason for this but I had done thing for it,on one occasion I had applied 'Clindamycin Phosphate Gel',(in small amounts) on that area and from today is the 2nd day,and I've noticed that the skin is getting back to normal. I don't really know whether it was the right gel,but since its working for me I wont complain about anything and noways I'm gonna apply anything on it again unless I consult a dermatologist in my future. Now,can you tell what exactly my infection was?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be due to seborrehic dermatitis, fungal infection or vitiligo. Vitiligo is a pigmentation disorder in which melanocytes (the cells that make pigment) in the skin are destroyed. As a result, white patches appear on the skin in different parts of the body. Diagnosis can be confirmed by external examination, blood tests to check skin cell count  for melanocytes and biopsy of the skin patches.

I suggest you to get it evaluated from a dermatologist. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
