bulky uterus with honogeneous texture

I would like to know what a bulky uterus with homogeneous texture means. I had a bladder scan due to recurring cystitis, they also found a cyst in the right ovary. The scan also showed that my uterus is anteverted. Endometrial lining was regular 5mm ap diameter. I don't know what to make of any of this and would like some advice as the hospital did'nt give me any apart from "come back in 4 months". Can anyone explain what all this means please. Thankyou.

Hi,

Homogeneous texture means that the uterus is uniform in its muscle mass with no abnormal density, such as due to a fibroid or a tumor.
A bulky uterus refers to an enlarged uterus. This can vary based on the phase of the menstrual cycle you are in at the time of examination.

Anteversion is the normal position of the uterus.

Recurring cystitis can be due to ineffective or inadequate antibiotic therapy or frequent infection from spouse or partner.

Cysts may be part of normal physiological phases of the ovary, just prior to release of ovum, etc.

Do keep us posted on your doubts and progress.
Regards
