thank you for the quick response, i thought it might be the sebaceous cyst, but its located under the foreskin, and has an almost 'crunchy' feeling when i push on it, it only occurs some times when i haven’t been sexually active for about a week or 2, since sebaceous cyst's occur around hair follicles i thought it wouldn’t be the case under the foreskin, and it forms a ridge about a third of the way around the shaft, right where the foreskin would traditionally be removed at.
does it still fall into this category?
Hello,
This lump can be a sebaceous cyst or a benign growth under the skin. Blocked sebaceous glands, swollen hair follicles and excessive testosterone production will cause such cysts.
Generally no treatment is required but they become painful then it means they are infected,Then surgical excision by traditional wide excision, minimal excision, and punch biopsy excision may be required.
I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
