Over the past month i have experienced some testicle pain, sensitivity of the testicles, and some pain in my groin. Do you think this could be testicular cancer. I have checked for lumps and have found nothing. Thank You

Hi,

Testicular cancer presents with a lump that is usually painless, hard, and irregular.

Sensitivity, pain and groin pain need not be cancer related, but could be due to infections or inflammation.

If you have not identified any lumps it is probable that you do not have any  lumps and the chances of your having testicular cancer are minimal.

However, you should consult with a urologist for evaluation of your symptoms and start treatment with antibiotics if required.

Infections of the urethra, epididymis or prostate present with pain or burning sensation during urination or ejaculation.

If you feel that you could be having an infection, increase your intake of fluid to about 2000 ml per day, avoid caffeine and alcohol, increase citrus fruits and juices in diet, and avoid contact sports and strenuous physical exertion.

Do keep us posted on your doubts and progress.
Regards
