help
hi ive benn peeing blood for 5 days know can you help the blood bright red and clots i self catherize and have had 2 courses of antibiotics and they dont seem to be working and feel am getting worse can you give some sort of answers thanks

Since you can actually see the blood in urine, you should rule out clotting disorders including low platelet count. Gross hematuria visible to naked eye is also seen in kidney and bladder stones, cancer of kidney, sickle cell anemia, bladder endometriosis, low platelet count, bladder injury and bladder infections. Apart from urine examination, you would need some other blood tests and imaging tests and maybe cystoscopy.
Do discuss this with your doctor (urologist) and get yourself examined. Take care!
