Cystoscopy Reaction

My doc did Cystoscopy on me day before yesterday, since then I have pain in urinating, yesterday the pain really elevated and since the test I can only pass drops to urinate. I have on and off fever and feeling cold plus I'm shiverring badly. Every time I try to pee, it burns and severe pain emerges, and I can only pass drops. Is this some kind of reaction to the test is it normal?

I had a cystoscopy Nov 5 and though discomfort occurred during the procedure there was none for the next 18 hours.
But then a number of problems--great pain and discomfort while trying to urinate, or when urination seemed to be about to happen but did not, finally urinating, and now urgency or occasional loss of bladder control.
The urologist found a tiny smaller than 5 millimeter growth that he said he should biopsy.  But the pain and problems noted above have made me wonder--should I wait and put off the biopsy? I am 83 years old and otherwise in very good health.

the aftermath of this test hurts like hell; any doc worth seeing would give you an antibiotic and a few days of a narc like Vicodin or Percocet.......it's like peeing glass

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Pain, burning micturition and fever after cystoscopy are indicative of urinary tract infection. To diagnose a UTI pls get a complete urine examination and urine culture done.

Antibiotics are the main treatment and for that I would suggest a urologist’s evaluation.

Hope it helps.Take care and regards.
