pain when urinating

While on holiday in Spain i began having terrible pain when urinating,Ive started getting up a couple of times a night to pee and its extremely painful,but surprisely as the day goes on the pain subsides.I Know its getting worse as the pain is almost constant during the morning now,the pain is in my pelvic area and round the right side.Ive been to see my doctor and he told me to do a urine sample which im taking to the lab on Monday.Any help would be appeciated

Ive had my Urine Sample results today and found out that ive got a kidney infection so the doc as put me on a course of Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanic acid) for 7 days.

It could be a uti in which case you will need antibiotics

Hi,
The pain seems to me due to a stone in the urinary tract and will suggest you getting an ultrasound done and maybe an Intravenous urography/CT scan to confirm the presence of a stone. Please do consult a urologist also for the same. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
