scrotum shringage & testes retractile

80 yrs old. Had prostate enlargement to the point I could not urinate. Surgery in 2010 involving scraping out the prostate but not removing it. No cancer found. The problem was fixed, and I am able to be sexually active w/orgasm, but no ejaculation since the semen vessel was interrupted. My current problem is that sexual activity seems to cause the scrotum and testes to be sucked upward, sometimes w/minor discomfort or pain. This only happened occasionally before and would revert to normal. It happens w/each activity now, but still returns to normal, however w/emotional concerns.

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my concerns. It gives me a better understanding of the problem and what to discuss with my urologist when I return in May. In the interim, should I cease S. activity? What actions will be needed if the testis does not descend back to normal?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Get it evaluated from a urologist to get ruled out any adhesion formation after the procedure. It can also be due to an overactive cremasteric muscle.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
