trimethroprim need advice on whether to continue or what to do now
Tried posting before but it backlogged me and removed what I wrote. Briefly...
I have been prescribed trimethoprim for a possible uti, the swab test was clean sent off to labs but I did use the bottle/container at the beginning of the stream (M25) not the middle idk if that would matter. Right, two tablets in I am getting similar side effects to those mentioned on the reviews of patient.info, but more concerningly I am getting shaking symptoms originating from my gut and as some here know about the gut-mind connection I'm not really super into continuing it, but doc said I should do so for the full course (antibiotic resistance).
Kinda feels like I am being a bit silly, but it does feel/seem as though I am being damaged. I would class myself as having a 'sensitive biodome', it's kinda like neurotrasmitters and other aspects of my health and mental health are highly linked to my gut flora, which is why previously when taking certain AB I feel a bit anhedonic. It's not natural, but I am taking a probiotic. Should I continue? Any advice.
