I have stress incontinence. When having sexual intercourse I have bladder leakage. If I use my intermittent catheter before even starting foreplay and then sexual intercourse would it provide relief from the bladder leakage

I was told detrol or other meds to help incontinence would not help with stress incontinence. Thank you. It is a very big and embarrising problem for me. I am single and in my mid 40's. I have read about this injection that can be administered but at this time I do not have insurance am I am unable to afford it.

Thank You

It should unless you drink a lot of fluids.  Cut back on your intake a little if possible.  Have you tried drugs like Detrol?

Good luck.
