uti&bi

so i have had a urniary track infection and a bladder infection for almost a year. it started out just a bladder infection, when i took the perscipton i got the uti, once i took the perscription for the uti, im back at square one, bladder infection. friends and family think it may be because of soda, but it seems everytime i get medicince for one, it gives me the other right back.. its been going on for along time. and not to mention, lately i have had disscharge constantly. i dont think thats quite normal either but the doctor keeps giving me the run around, anyone have an ideah what i should do besides get a new doctor? I've been taking the cranberry pills for about a week now, thou it seems a little better, its still not goin away. help

Hi,

You had a complete assessment done? Was a urinalysis with urine culture done? Urinary tract infections that are persistent or recurrent inspite of good compliance to medications may need further assessment. Were you evaluated for renal stones? Any imaging of the kidney , ureter and bladdder done?
