Well of course the shot is more affective,look at it like this if you go to the doctor for a flu shot would you prefer the pill or the shot??? well of course the shot because it will do the job intended but we all no there is no pill for getting any vaccinations i'm just giving you an idea
B-12 pills are not absorbed by the body well. Yor body only absorbs after going through the liver and soforth about 10-15% of oral pills opposed to getting a shot into a muscle where the body can readily utilize.
