Have an idea for you .. what do you think about taking all the unhealthy snacks and let's play a game ... perhaps we can list one unhealthy snack a day and we can all play ... BUST THE SNACK! We could concentrate on that one unhealthy food and the community members can all tell of a similar type snack or food they use that would be similar in taste that would be a healthy way to satisfy the craving and yet do so in a calorie conscious healthy food way???

What is your favorite UNhealthy snack?! chips, soda, cheese and crackers, sweets but only when I get a craving.

What is your emotional go-to food? poporn with parmasean cheese or popcicles or fried chicken or pasta topped with steamed carrots, broccoli and cauliflower sprinkled with parmasean cheese
With my thyroid issue, I seem to go through phases where I want something sweet and salty: so anything I get my hands on to take care of the right now.
breakfast: bacon and boiled eggs or cereal( lucky charms, capn crunch crunchberrys, frosted flakes, cinnamin toast crunch or froot loops) Fruit, yogurt, donut and coffee, sometimes no food at all.

My fav emotional go-to food??? Let's just say that after hubby rolled his truck this past Monday, I almost started a post, "Guess What I Had for Dinner?" If I needed to give hints, I was going to hint that it was a comfort food. I made fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy (LOVE fried chicken gravy!!!), and broccoli.

Favorite healthy snack--- Laughing Cow Creamy Swiss Cheeeeeese! And home-popped popcorn (not the microwave kind). MILK!
Emotional go-to food--- mashed potatoes and jar gravy (this is my PMS food!)
Favorite breakfast add-on--- breakfast is really hard for me. I usually just eat cereal. I've been eating oatmeal recently.

Anything dipped in dark chocolate. I got a small box of almond clusters for Christmas. Mmmm.

Carrots/celery dipped sparingly in light sour cream (spiked with hot sauce), clementines, grapes, handful of almonds and/or raisins, baked corn chips served with copious amounts of salsa. Why does salsa come in little jars??? I need to start tinkering with making my own. (Tostitos baked "Scoops" chips are my fav because they hold lots of salsa!)

I've recently been experimenting with my new blender so I've been trying various smoothie recipes. Some silken tofu, a banana, some frozen berries, a splash of water and a hint of sugar = Yum. (This pretty much replaces breakfast, not add on to it.)

What is your favorite healthy snack(s)? (1) Rosemary Triscuit crackers OR Cracked Black Pepper Triscuit crackers (6) and 1 triangle of Skinny Cow Cheese -- (2) Dried mango and a few curried cashews
What is your emotional go-to food? Ice cream or chocolate cake or candy -- have developed healthy choices (1) Wells Blue Bunny fudgesickles (35 calories each), (2) 100 calorie chocolate cupcakes (have to leave the remaining package in the freezer if I am strong or with someone else if I am not) (3) Mint Three Milky Way - 150 calories. The old unhealthy choices were bear claw ice cream (dark chocolate and almonds - 1/2 gal), chocolate cake (1/2 or more) and fistfulls of candy.

I love my yogurt! i have the dannon lite and fit for just 60 cals.!! always something great to start with!!
