Golly, you caught me --- actually, since I *know* you are afraid of needles, it just follows that you would argue with my idea to get through the ordeal............lol Wow - magic numbing cream?? *I* never get anything like that when I have to have a shot or get blood drawn -- well, I guess since I have to have my shots every 2 weeks, I'd probably be using a lot of it !!
Best of luck to you -- I just know it will turn out well, and of course, you have US cheering you on!!
Thanks Barb, how did you know i was argueing with you, you been spying on my computer Tweenher always said you was the spy haha, I got my magic numbing cream at the ready have to use it an hour before i go so my arm will be nice and numb,
Okay - I know you don't like needles ---- so when you go on Monday, do NOT try to watch what's going on and just think of it as a "pin *****" or "mosquito bite" if/when they give you any shots.........you can do this --- oh, stop arguing with me, you're a big girl now (I'll be there with you, so you can just squeeze my hand as hard as you can) and we love you so much, we'll be on pins and needles (no pun intended) waiting to hear how you do.........
Giant ((hugs))
Congrats on the not a "medicated diabetic". I know how important this is. My mother-in-law has been diabetic since her second child 40 years ago and even though she takes care of herself she is in the hospital with complications due to her diabetes. I'm glad your lump was only a cyst but I'm very happy for you about the diabetes. It's going to make a world of difference in your future.
Yes it is uncomfortable, I am having it removed on monday. As you can guess I am really looking forward to it, NOT. But i will be ok
Elaine -- I'm so happy that you got so lucky. That lump could have been really bad. Let's thank the Lord that it was nothing. Will they be removing the cyst? If it's large as a golf ball, that must be pretty uncomfortable.
AND you got off your meformin -- how much better can the news get?? I've no doubt that you will be able to control your diabetes with diet and exercise........... congratulations.
