Are you trying to change too many things all at one time?  Sometimes we have better luck if we concentrate on making small changes, one at a time, than if we try to change our entire lifestyle all at once.

For instance, to begin with, you might try switching from soda to water and when water becomes your drink of choice, try switching from an ice cream to a piece of fruit or some veggie sticks, etc.

The point is to let each habit "sink in" for a while before changing another.  When we try to change everything all at once, we are often setting ourselves up for failure.
