Memorial Day Plans??

We're at the beginning of a holiday weekend -- some of you might already have started your weekend - just curious as to whether or not, you have special plans.

Are  you hosting a party, going to a party, spending a quiet weekend at home or do you have to work on the weekend?

If you are hosting a party, have you planned food for everyone that will fit into your weight loss regime?  If so, what?

If you are going to a party, have you planned ahead?  Do you know if your host is planning things that will work well for your diet, or will you take alternatives with you?

If you are spending a quiet weekend at home, have you planned ahead for a "splurge" (after all, it's a holiday weekend), or will you stick to your routine?

For those of you who have to work -- do you have to work the "whole" weekend, or only part of it?

Seems like there are always things waiting to take us away from our goals.  Are we ready?

I have to spend Saturday making my weekly trek to care for my aunt; but I'm looking forward to it.  Today was a good day at work for me and my husband is going with me tomorrow;  we will take my aunt out for breakfast, then do her errands, etc.  As many of you know, she's 91 yrs old; she's rather stuck in her ways and we do our best to let her continue with things she's comfortable with.  One of those things is: breakfast at Denny's......fortunately for me, Denny's has added some items to their menu that don't derail me too badly.

On Sunday, my daughter, her husband and her/his children will visit (they both have a child from previous marriages; he has a daughter, she has a son AND she's preggers with "theirs") will be here for lunch.  *I* will be in control of that food.......lol

Monday, hubby and I are going to a major flea market in our area and will most likely eat junk -- I'm already planning for that, but will do my best to make it the "most beneficial junk" that I can --- sure that makes sense.......

Wishing everyone a happy and very safe weekend.............

In some ways, I think you are the lucky one --- there are many weekends, when I would dearly love to not have "anything planned, but yard work".........  I do love my "dirt therapy".

Sea World sounds wonderful.  Never been to the one in CA, but been to the one FL several times and love it.  Enjoy your yard work -- don't forget, that's excellent exercise!!

Sounds like you two have a fun & busy weekend ahead!

We have no clue what is going on this weekend. Last night we went to Sea World as a family & sometime this weekend we will visit my grandpa's grave, but we have nothing planned outside of that (other than yard work).

Our splurge was last night before going to Sea World. I think we managed not to overdo it. ^_^

Sounds like you two have a fun & busy weekend ahead! Enjoy yourselves. ^_^

Well, I'm sure you're long gone on your camping trip by now, but I hope you have a wonderful time.  Grilling can be very good for you, so long as you take care with the things that go along with it.

I am going camping for the whole week starting in about an hour, so my whole week will be bbq cooking, i have armed myself with lots of recipes which are healthier, but it will be difficult to stay on track for the whole week, So im trying to tell myself that it will be ok if i dont,
