Good morning, everyone. How are we doing this fine Sunday morning? I hope everyone had a great week of losing - weight.......
Once again, my weight has run the gamut - from 144 lbs to 149 lbs....... I'll take what my scale gave me this morning, which was 146.8, so that means I'm down by 0.2 lbs from last week. Not a significant amount and a long way from an entire pound, but I'll take it anyway - a loss is a loss!!
Yesterday, we made the usual visit to my elderly aunt, who always wants to go out for breakfast at Denny's. As we know, Denny's does not have a whole lot on the menu, that's both satisfying and healthy!! I did pick "better" choices, and when it was all said and done, ended up eating less than 1/2 what was on the plate. Yay, for me!! Last night, my scale actually said I only weighed 144.8...... so I picked up 2 pounds overnight. Hmm, guess that would account for my "fat fingers", this morning (swollen from fluid retention).
While I would have preferred to meet the goal of losing a pound, I'm not going to beat myself up over not losing the whole pound. I simply know that I have to work harder this week, as I'm running out of time to meet my 6 pound goal; June 21is slightly more than 4 weeks away....... wow!! Time flies when we're having fun, doesn't it?
