I didn't type that. I think a certain person who shall remain nameless **you know who you are, BARB135*** actually hijacked my computer, but I got it back now. (Welcome back, Barb135, I'll have to read your post next. I hope the news is that you're feeling better!)
I'll be more careful next time, and I'll keep things in order - but it's just not the same without you.
If you have that camomile tea, you might not be on here at all - and rest is just what you need! Take care...((((cyber hugs))))
Sorry - I promise not to look at your computer any more, ok??
Ranae, enjoy the soup and tea (maybe add a piece of toast to round out the meal) and hope you get better soon.
We won't play too much while you are out.
Aren't you supposed to be a colonel or something ???? ;p
twehner - I'm not that far away "little mouse" ... lolll
Thanks for the encouragement and support. Love your ideas and will work to implement them. Hope to be on limited tonight and start easing back into it. Still feel crumby .. but not from "cake" .. ha haa ha
Guess the humor is still there.
Chicken soup and hot tea on tap for tonight. And yes, prior to reading this I ate too much at lunch. Perhaps by implementing the soup and tea tonight, it will round things out. (I hear ya Helen.)
(((Hugss))) all around .. (from afar so you don't get sick)
Stop it, Barb! She's always looking over at my computer!
Laughter is the best medicine. Well, actually, bedrest, plenty of fluids and all the other stuff those two before me already said. They covered everything I could think of.
Take care - we miss you.
When the cat's away..................
I think you should drink lots of fluids, try hot tea (I prefer green tea) with lemon and honey, peppermint tea, etc. The peppermint helps clear the sinuses, loosen the chest AND might help soothe the tummy. Chammomile tea is also good, but it's very calming so might be better to try that before going to sleep.
Other than that, if I'm having trouble keeping things down, I pretty much eat what makes me feel better and what will stay put. Chicken noodle soup usually works well. Sometimes if I'm real queasy, I just nibble on some saltine crackers - the tend to calm the rage sometimes. Also, toast helps too if you can't keep things down.
Get well soon.
Oh no - sorry to hear you are so sick and having to go to work :(
Drink lots of fluids - and eat lots of fruit - every time you have those ravenous feelings feed yourself with healthy stuff....its too tempting to fall off the waggon because of illness - the best thing is to come out the other side and feel happy you didn't give in.....
