Brown Rice and Weight Watchers

Love this Core plan so far!  We'll see if I actually lose weight.  I have a question about the core food list:
Brown rice is a core food,  puffed rice cereal is a core food,  plain rice cakes however, are not.  Does anybody know why?  The store brand of rice cakes that I buy is whole grain brown rice and nothing else...what's up with that?
X O to all....Mary Kay

This is a great snack. One cake =1 point!

Puffed rice cereal is only core if you eat it with skim milk, or with FF plain yogurt.  Otherwise, you have to count points for it.
And cold cereal can only be eaten once a day, or you have to count points for any subsequent time you eat it.
Brown rice can only be eaten once a day, too or you have to count points for the subesquent times you eat it.

So it may be that plain rice cakes do not quite fit in with the "rules" of Core.  They are very low points, though.  Well worth keeping around for snack attacks.
