I would suggest you check with your doctor for any programs you might need to flaten the stomach. It might be a syndrome for any other diseases. I would also suggest you try to read the Essential Weight Loss Handbook for more information on how to increase your body's vitality and well being.
There are several health issues that can cause a a large stomach. Have you been checked for diabetes and/or insulin resistance? In addition, a lot of stress can cause excess cortisol, which also contributes to fat around the stomach.
You can't "spot reduce" but losing weight overall should help bring down the stomach. I find that walking helps my arthritis considerably -- gets the kinks out - even though it's painful to get started, especially if I've been sitting for a while and am stiff.

I am 50 yrs old and had a hysterectomy, I have arthritis in my right leg so even walking has been hard I take fiber and drink alot of water, but I can't get into shape, I do 300 situps every other day, and floor excercises, I my stomach as you may see on my profile is outreageous, if you have studied health what make my stomach so fat? i had a colonoscopy and have irritable bowel sydrome i know you are young and don't want to hear from old ladies, but can you suggest a plan for me? thank you
