Sunday Weigh In - April 29, 2012

Here we are again for another weigh in.  How's everyone doing this week?  

My week wasn't bad, but not real good either.  I'm still retaining a lot of fluid and weight is fluctuating as much as 5-7 pounds/day.  

With my winter neighbor gone, I'm not walking every day and that makes a difference.  Well, it wouldn't if I were replacing it with something else, but I haven't done that much either.

To be perfectly honest, I didn't even step on the scale this morning, because it hurts to even bend my fingers and I knew I wouldn't like what the scale had to say, in spite of everything.  I'll post my current weight in the next day or so; in the meantime, I'll simply add my tracker here and let it go at that.

We have company coming today, so will be doing a lot of sitting around; at least this afternoon.   On that note, I have to get going and do a bit of cleaning and picking up, then start working on fixing lunch.  

Hope everyone else is doing great.  Let us know what we can do to help; and for sure we'll cheer you  on for your success.  

Remember........... we win by losing......weight.

I have tons of online buddies...... everyone on MH is a buddy.  It's hard to get  motivated sometimes.

That's good to visit with family.

Oh I know what you mean. Its really hard for mr to exercise alone. Or if I'm sick. It took a lot for me to do it.

I did that after my surgery! But talking to people also help. Maybe you could find an online buddy and tell them how good your exercise went.

Had a nice day, visiting with daughter and grandkids.  Don't get to see them often enough.

I have several yoga dvd's and I really love doing it.  I also have a treadmill and I love walking. I just don't get going and do it.When my neighbor was here, we had a standing "date" every morning at 7:00. That was a commitment and I didn't break it.  Now I need to make the commitment to myself.

Part of my problem is spending too much time on MedHelp.  I'm on this forum, plus a couple others and all too often, before I realize it,several hours have gone by and I'm still sitting at the computer, either responding to posts or researching.  I'm trying to curb that.

I think I would be better if I only weighed once a week also.
I know how you feel! I don't like exercising alone. I push myself to do the stationary bike but people are usually in the house to talk to. Have you ever thought of a yoga dvd? They are relaxing and help a lot. I exercise when I'm at home but whenever I go to my boyfriends house and say we need to walk the trail he doesn't want to and I usually don't want to go alone. I hope you have a good day!
