77 year old woman in Wichita, KS

I suffer from cramps in the top of my left foot, and in my right ankle every night, multiple times.  My potassium level is fine, I'm diabetic, and have AFib  Also occasionally have charlie horses in inside of thighs, either leg.   What can I do?

Thanks, I have talked to my Dr about this . . . to no avail, but I'll sure try the foot baths.  I have a jacuzzi tub and can just use it.

Funny you should bring this up. I was at the doctor with a friend of mine just yesterday for his cramps. The doctor said that some people can have Peripheral Vascular Disease. The doctor explained that if someone has heart problems it can often lead to this. Also unfortunately age does increase the odds for it. My friend is 59 and flies alot with his job.
I suggest you go to the doctor and mention it. It is not really something you want to take lightly.
If they find nothing, I'd suggest a massaging foot bath, the kind you plug in, before bed time. Apparently this helps to improve circulation before bed time. (Doc told my friend that as well)
First, get checked out by the doctor for the PVD as I mentioned earlier.
Cheers!
