Agonising spasms

Wasn't entirely sure where to post this so am cross posting but I hope someone here can help shed some light.

Over the last couple of years, I've been experiencing what I can only describe as agonising spasms that feel like they are either coming from my rectum or pelvic floor muscle.

This began as a pretty rare occurrence but is becoming increasingly frequent.

The pain usually starts after a bowel movement or if I bear down as if to make a bowel movement. I do not have any pain when actually making a bowel movement, the pain starts after it is completed.

The pain feels like my insides are sort of clamping up tightly and I get incredibly sharp searing pain that feels like it is coming from deep inside. Once it starts, I also experience shooting pains inside my vagina as well as sharp spasm like pains in what seems to be either my rectum, anus or pelvic floor muscle although i'd say the pain seems to be most intense around the perineum. The pain also radiates to my lower abdomen although that feels more like an ache, similar to when I have my period or if my bladder is full.

I also experience pressure from inside the anus and if I sit on my knees and lean forward and stick my butt out the pressure and pain intensifies.

It hurts whenever I move or put weight on either area (like sitting or laying down) and also hurts if I lie on my side. I also find it almost impossible to stand up straight because of the pain. I can rarely find a comfortable position.

The intense pain usually lasts for hours, gradually fading over 24 hours. Coughing or urinating makes the pain worse. Making a bowel movement once the pain starts is impossible as it is incredibly painful. It also hurts to breathe in deeply.

If I place a finger on the perineum, I can feel spasming (I can also feel this at the opening of the vagina). Any pressure on the anus results in severe sharp spasm/cramp like pain.

I've tried taking hot baths, hot water bottle, pain killers and diazepam. The heat takes the edge off a bit but it gets intense again as soon as I take the heat away. Pain killers do not touch it and diazepam does not seem to help (although I wonder if maybe a higher dose would make a difference).

What on earth is causing this? And how can I ease the pain? I have never experienced anything as painful as this. I end up shaking and sobbing every time in starts.

Hope someone can help me out. It's so bizarre.

FYI: No bleeding, swelling or any symptoms of that nature.

Thanks

Those types of symptoms for that long of a time (a few years????) looks like a doctor needs to see it. See your gynecologist first then see where there refer you. What is causing the problem could be something super serious!

But, from what I know, muscle spasms can be caused by nutrient or skeletal imbalance. Like if you don't get enough vitamins etc OR you have bad posture your skeleton causes muscles to tighten or lengthen.

I hope this helps and good luck!!
