Blood clots

I often get blood clots in my period. Normally I will get 2 or 3 larger ones that will be at least 5cm diameter. After this is I get multiple smaller ones.Is this normal - should I see a doctor - why is this happening?

Hi there.  This is pretty normal.  I've always gotten blood clots.  I think I gave birth to one last cycle it was so big!  ha ha.  But really, after I had my first child, they told me that clots bigger than a golf ball are a bit more worrisome.  I wouldn't make a special appointment to the doctor for this but maybe mention it at your annual pap smear or well check.  good luck
