What are these large, flap-like chunks of flesh in my vagina?

Hi! I am a 17 year old female who has recently become sexually active as of May. I have noticed these large, fleshy "tongue"-like flaps on the inside of my vagina, that become swollen and sometimes even protrude out after sex. It does make sex, and even putting in a tampon very painful, but I usually try to ignore it. Even though I've always had this, for the past three weeks it has been accompanied by a strange odor, change in color/amount of discharge, and has remained consistently swollen. I was wondering if anyone has experienced or know what this is. Thank you!!

You're sure it is not your vaginal lips? Have you asked your ob-gyn?
