Clear dicharge?

My period ended on the 9th. Me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex on the 16th and the 17th. So I'm pretty sure I wasn't ovulating yet. But this morning I had a clear kind of stretchy slimmy discharge. Is this normal? Or could I have gotten pregnant? I haven't bled at all, so I don't think I am.

We're not trying all that hard to get pregnant. We're just going with the flow. Thanks for the advice. It really helped :)

Hi there and welcome to the forum.  Well, what that is . . .  is the mucus that comes when you are highly fertile.  It traps the sperm and helps it travel to our egg.  You are probably ovulating or getting ready to.  Women can ovulate on any day of their cycle.  While it isn't typical---  it can happen at any point even early on.  Most doctors say you are most fertile halfway through your cycle but if you are trying to get pregnant, start having sex on day NINE of your cycle or day TEN.  Then do so every other day for the next 10 days.

You very well are ovulating right now or about to with recent sperm entered into the picture.

I never bled during implantation of either of my kids.  That isn't a good measurement.  So, you'll have to wait and see if your period comes on schedule.

My recommendation is to NEVER have unprotected sex if getting pregnant isn't a good option for you.  We all make mistakes but scares help us in the future not repeat them.

But that discharge that you see is mucus and what women trying to get pregnant look for to see if it is a good time to try.  good luck to you and hope this works out that you aren't pregnant if that would be bad timing for you.  Let us know.  Peace
