Hi worried,
I don't want to scare you, but you have to go to the doctor... I am nearly 100% sure that you have a vaginal infection, and it is not yeast. The discharge seen with yeast is very thick and white (like cottage cheese). Clear/yellow vaginal discharge is more common with bacterial infections, which are also VERY common. The blood that you are seeing is very likely comming from irritation inside your vagina or your cervix from the infection. You have no reason to worry now, because vaginal infections are very treatable with antibiotics from your doctor (you know the stuff that you get when you have strep throat or a sinus infection), but there isn't anything that you can buy without a prescription to cure this.
However, there are some serious complications if the infection goes untreated! Pelvic inflammatory disease, for example is a serious infection of your uterus (womb), falopian tubes, ovaries, and/or other organs in your pelvis that can cause many complications. There is also a chance that the infection could get into your blood and cause you many health problems. From your blood, it could also get into your breast milk and hurt your baby. So PLEASE go see your doctor. You have no reason to be afraid or emarassed, this is a very common problem that doctors see literally everyday! And he or she will not need to do any scary tests or treatments. The worst that you can expect is a pelvic exam, and maybe not even that.
If you cannot afford to go to the doctor, your local public health department should also be able to help with this.
I am very concerned for you, and it worries me that you are affraid to see your doctor. If I can help you more, please e-mail me at ***@****. If you e-mail me, I will even give you my phone number if you think talking to someone about it would calm your nerves about seeing a doctor.
Take care...
I really appreciate your post, but i know it might sound a little strang but i have not had a period since july 06 then i got pregnant i had my baby in 07 at i still have not had a period at all. some people tell me its normal and some say its not and get to a doctor!! but i'm breastfeeding and i was getting the depo shot my last on was june 08 i was pose to get another in september but i didn't. and im not sure if you would know? but is it normal to have like bumps or skin tag looking thing on the inside of the vagina like a little pass the intrance on the sides it they are on both left and right side?
You don't need to worry. That yellow stuff is just a lube like substance that helps the egg enter your cervix, or wherever the egg waits for the semen. The reason why you are having back aches is because you are about to start your period. Don't worry about it, just keep a tampon in your bag for when it starts.
